Joyce Adeline Bamford-Ado was a former Supreme Court Justice and became the Deputy Speaker of the Ghana Consultative Assembly. Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana from 2009 to 2013, Joyce was the first woman to hold this position in all of West Africa.
